The LEAP Program at Yellowstone Alliance Adventures (YAA) offers a unique curriculum that blends nature-based experiences with age-appropriate learning for preschoolers ages 2–5. Through hands-on exploration both outdoors and in the classroom, children are introduced to the wonder of the world around them. We prepare children to enter kindergarten with the confidence and skills needed to thrive not only in the classroom but in all areas of life. Our commitment is to whole-child development—addressing academic growth, social-emotional learning, Biblical formation, and practical life skills.
LEAP features two essential learning environments: a non-traditional, outdoor-inspired classroom and a natural mountainside setting with forest and trails to explore.

Mission
To provide a high-quality early childhood learning program rooted in Biblical principles that
meets the developmental needs of preschool-aged children while inspiring a lifelong love for God, learning, and nature. Our curriculum combines traditional kindergarten readiness with nature-based exploration, helping children develop a deep appreciation for the world around them and the Creator who made it.
Approach to Learning
At LEAP, teachers create a safe, engaging, and caring environment where each child is valued as a unique and capable learner. Our curriculum includes language arts, early math concepts, social studies, science and nature discovery, art exploration, and a faith-based Bible program.
Learning takes place in both indoor and outdoor environments, allowing children to engage all their senses and learn through direct experience and play. LEAP emphasizes "learning beyond the walls," using nature as a living classroom that fosters self-motivated, enriching, and authentic learning. Children spend time outdoors daily, and on days when weather is extreme, indoor large-motor activities provide space for energetic play.

Our Staff
At LEAP, we believe that a child’s earliest learning experiences are shaped by the people who guide them. Our dedicated team is made up of passionate educators and leaders who are committed to nurturing the hearts and minds of young explorers. With a shared love for children, nature, and Jesus, our staff creates a safe, engaging environment where each child is seen, known, and encouraged to grow.
Together, we bring years of experience in early childhood education, faith formation, and outdoor learning—united by a desire to reflect Christ’s character in all we do.
